Alex Florea is head of sustainability at cult British skincare manufacturer and brand Medik8. With a background in change management, Alex began her sustainability career more than decade ago with the Marks & Spencer’s Plan A team. Having delivered a wide variety of projects in all areas of sustainability, she then shifted to the beauty sector with Boots No7 Beauty Company in 2020. Her notable achievements include launching the Recycle at Boots scheme and securing Leaping Bunny accreditation for brands in the No7 portfolio. Since joining Medik8 in 2022, Florea has developed and launched the company's ESG strategy and led it to become B Corp certified.
