With a background in change management, Alex Florea began her sustainability career more than decade ago with Marks & Spencer’s Plan A team. Having delivered a wide variety of projects in all areas of sustainability, she then shifted to the beauty sector with Boots No7 Beauty Company in 2020. Florea’s notable achievements include launching the Recycle at Boots scheme and securing Leaping Bunny accreditation for brands in the No7 portfolio. Since 2022, she has been heading up sustainability at cult British skincare manufacturer and brand Medik8, where she developed and launched the brand’s ESG strategy and led it to become B Corp certified.
