Yasmine Sabri is an Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management with two decades of experience working across operations, supply chain management, business development, applied research and education. Her work focuses on helping organisations navigate systemic risks, design more resilient and sustainable supply chains in environments characterised by uncertainty, and complexity.
Yasmine has worked directly with businesses, professional institutions, industry partners, and humanitarian organisations on supply chain challenges linked to resilience, risk, digital transformation, sustainability, and operational performance. Prior to her academic career, she gained professional experience in operations and supply chain management within a Fortune 500 company, and later worked in business development with leading UK engineering professional institutions, coordinating collaborations with businesses, industry federations, and higher education providers.
Yasmine is based at the UK Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence Centre at Loughborough University, part of the MIT Global SCALE Network, where she works closely with industry partners to develop practice-led education and executive programmes. She is also Academic Lead and Board Director of the Humanitarian Logistics Association and regularly contributes to practitioner forums such as the World Food Programme Logistics Cluster and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
